Black hair – #Senryu Challenge #20 Photo

There is something about her that is beautiful and fierce.

He loves her silky jet black hair, shining like the sea at night, with strands utterly white where the room lighting fell.

He loves to see her sitting down in the bed and pulling  it all up ready for her bath, while the towel slowly fell caressing her shoulders and skin…

Every time she moves, so do those northern lights in her hair…

Hair so black against skin so white and lips so pink will still stop his heart on its tracks.

There is something in her demeanour, something on her that hipnotise him, haunt him.

She… She knows all about it! And even when he’s not around, she follows the ritual everyday, facing the same wall, observing the same painting, knowing full well that he will be thinking of her, her gestures, her ritual, her towel, her silky jet black hair…

  1. I enjoyed how you’ve made the image become more alive with meaning. It is a good story you’ve interpreted. Though it doesn’t fit the challenge requirements, it’s still good writing! Glad to have inspired you. 🙂
