My story, your story… and then us!

All the lines across my face
Tell you my story, who I am, and how I got here.
My brown eyes bleed words and memories,
They tell you the story of my soul, open the gates, welcome you in.
There are places that remind me
my life,
the places I walked,
The stories I have been in,
The destiny that I changed,
And the destinies that changed me…

All the lines across my face
Tell you my story, who I am, and how I got here.
My brown eyes bleed words and memories,
They tell you the story of my soul, open the gates, welcome you in.
Scenes from my biographical black-and-white movie,
And time brings back
The first boyfriend,
A TV star,
Characters in the books,
Tears and smiles,
Unlock chests of memories,…
But it is you and I that I remember the most.

All these lines across my face,
And the smile that you embrace,
Tell you my story, who I am, and where I have been.
My brown eyes bleed words and memories,
They tell you the story of my soul, open the gates, welcome you in.
I climbed across some mountain tops,
I crossed some roads,
I linked some bridges,
And broke some rules,
Some for me, some because of me, some for you, some because of you.

All the lines across my face
Tell you my story, who I am, and how I got here.
My brown eyes bleed words and memories,
They tell you the story of my soul, open the gates, welcome you in.
But they hide the words that don’t come out,
They hide the inner mess,
I am not really one that can be called ‘blessed’.

All the lines across my face
Tell you my story, who I am, and how I got here, and where I have been.
My brown eyes bleed words and memories,
They tell you the story of my soul, open the gates, welcome you in.
I shown you the drawings along the way,
Some of them have faded,
In some of them their colour remain.
And then you drawn with bold colours a perfect rainbow into the dreary empty pages.
You know me, who I really am.
You know what I’ve been through,
Though my heart you did tattoo,
Though I know now I was made for you.

All the lines across your face
Tell me your story, who you are, and how you got here, and where you have been.
Your green eyes bleed words and memories,
They tell me the story of your soul, open the gates, welcome me in.
You have every reason to be bitter, but you walk and talk like you’re just been on an inspiring journey.
You’re not an open book.
You climbed across some mountain tops,
You crossed some roads,
You linked some bridges,
And broke some rules,
Some for you, some because of you, some for me and some because of me.

You story, and my story crossed paths forever.
You were made for me, and I was made for you.

  1. An increasing confidence to present your work lets us see just how talented you are. Do not underestimate yourself. I like the way you use the face to explore both your history and that of another. Great work πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  2. How powerful the sentence you used « my brown eyes bleed words and memoriesΒ Β» our story is written on our face and in our hearts but not all people are good readers of course! Loved how you described it from both eyes and both paths that gladly have crossed πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œβ€οΈβ€οΈ

    1. Thank you so much Huguette! Sometimes it seems as someone else takes over me, I guess, and write my posts! When I come back and read what I wrote it is difficult to believe I’ve done it, does it make sense?! Glad I did though!β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜‰πŸ’•

      1. Oh yes it makes perfect sense! We have many layers deep down inside and bringing them out is not as easy as it seems! But glad someone else is taking over so we can see all this creativity and feelings πŸ’–πŸ˜Š
